U.S. and International Media:

The NPRDP press credentials application process is free and must be completed online ONLY. 

No mail-in or hard-copy applications will be accepted. 

REQUIREMENTS:

Applications will require you to provide detailed information, and upload the following materials:

• A letter of authorization on your media outlet’s letterhead. The letter should be specific about your assignment during the Parade. (Example: journalist, announcer, photographer, crew, Etc.)

• A passport-quality digital photo (square sized, minimum 600x600 pixels) for each participant requesting a credential – jpg, tiff, eps or pdf formats.

• A digital copy of your media outlet’s ID card or valid NYPD press credentials is required.

• All documents must be received by 4 PM ET on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025

*Submission of an application does NOT guarantee approval. You will be notified when your credential has been approved and given instructions regarding pick up. 

** ONLY members of the working press actively engaged in covering the parade for established news outlets, and only for news reporting purposes (not marketing, publicity, or other business purposes), qualify for credentials. Employees of media outlets employed in duties not directly related to news coverage, do not qualify. Individual "influencers" or social media personalities do not qualify for press credentials.

***Credentials will not be mailed in advance, they will be distributed in person in Puerto Rico and in NYC before the parade at a central location. The date, time, and location of the pickups will be only sent to fully registered and verified press when available.
