Bio

Marcus Stroman is an American professional baseball pitcher known for his dynamic playing style and resilience on the mound. Born in Medford, New York, in 1991, Stroman played college baseball at Duke University before being drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft. He made his major league debut in 2014 and has since played for teams including the New York Mets and Chicago Cubs. Stroman's achievements include being named an MLB All-Star in 2019, winning a Gold Glove Award in 2017, and earning the MVP title in the 2017 World Baseball Classic, where he represented the United States.
