Victor Cruz is a former professional American football wide receiver, best known for his tenure with the New York Giants in the National Football League (NFL). Born on November 11, 1986, in Paterson, New Jersey, Cruz overcame early academic challenges to excel in football at the University of Massachusetts. Despite going undrafted in 2010, he signed with the Giants and quickly became a standout player, setting a franchise record for single-season receiving yards in 2011 and playing a pivotal role in the team's Super Bowl XLVI victory. Known for his salsa dance touchdown celebrations, Cruz earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2012.
