Ektor Rivera, born on February 11, 1980, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, is a multifaceted artist known for his work in theater, film, television, and visual arts. He holds a bachelor's degree in Arts, with honors (Magna Cum Laude), in Imaging and Digital Design from the School of Plastic Arts and Design of Puerto Rico. Rivera gained prominence for his portrayal of Emilio Estefan in the Broadway musical "On Your Feet!" His film credits include roles in "Sugar Plum Twist" and "Groundswell." In addition to his performing arts career, Rivera is an accomplished visual artist, having held solo exhibitions such as "Puerto Rico en Mi" at the Museo de las Américas in 2019. His diverse talents have made him a prominent figure in the Puerto Rican arts community.
